Courses at Hachioji

After meeting certainly requirements, students can choose to enter one of five different courses. |

| 1. | Special Advance Course - Students study with the aim of passing and entering top universities in Japan. Students in this course have on average 39 class hours per week, including Saturday schooling. |
| 2. | Advanced Course - Students study with the aim of entering high-level universities while at the same time participating in club and sport activities. Students in this course have on average 36 class hours per week, including Saturday schooling. |
| 3. | General Course - Students study from a wide and varied curriculum leading onto higher education or employment. Students in this course have on average 31 class hours per week, including Saturday schooling. |
| 4. | English Course - Students study from an original curriculum, which focuses on increasing students' English abilities for life in an internationalized society. Many students go on to enter 4-year universities. Students in this course have an average of 33 hours per week, including Saturday schooling. |
| 5. | Art & Music Course - This course is geared towards students wishing to advance themselves in the fields of art or music. Students are also encouraged to continue their studies to tertiary level. Students in this course have an average of 33 class hours per week, including Saturday schooling. |
